Summer is here

Has it really been a month since I've journaled? Time is going by so fast! Evan likes water this year (Knock on wood!). He went in his baby pool and has been having lots of fun playing in the water at school! (Last summer he did not like it at all - would cry to go inside at school when the water was out). Tonight I heard Evan say "Mooooommy" over the monitor. I go up there and he says "kiss me on my wips" (lips). I did and he smiled and rolled over to go to sleep. I am the luckiest person in the world.

Today is Monday, June 26th. I worked over the wkend so had today off. Such a super fun day!!! First day going to the beach this summer and Evan loved it! The water was cold and really even if it was warm I think he would've had no interest in it but he had a great time running down the hill and playing in the sand. SO FUN! Today was one of those days I cherished every single second and felt extra blessed. Went to Jill's for lunch where Riley and Jill Parker had a "wedding ceremony" for E & Chelsie. Captured their 1st kiss and when they were announced as husband and wife on my phone camera. So funny. Love making memories like this. Finished the day with watching Alex play in his baseball game and then dinner at LA. The 3 boys together seriously can't get any cuter! In the past 2 weeks I've noticed "big boy" things. E can now open doors, including the back screen door. He wants to do everything himself - getting in his car seat, taking his shoes off, pretty much anything - - his verbage for it is hilarious. He says "no, I" if I start to do something he wants to do. He got a bike helmet today and is incredibly excited to ride in the bike trailer behind my bike and be able to ride his tricycle outside. Which brings another milestone - he can now pedal! Today at the baseball field E was playing up on this hill, far from me but I could see him. He met 2 little friends he was playing with which is so very big boy and cute! One of the boys hit him, even though I wanted to run over there and barge into that scene, I watched to see what E would do. He walked away :) I am so proud of him for handling that situation that way! We have fun plans for the 4th - going boating with Lisa and Jay while E spends the day with Mimi, going to Tonya's for a bbq (he will think that's the coolest thing ever - being at Tonya's!), going on Jack & Jill's boat. FUN fun fun age - we love you E boy, all the way to the mooooooooon :)
